The Happening 2008

The Happening is a 2008 American film written, co-produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It stars Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel. Production began in August 2007 in Philadelphia. The Happening will be released on Friday, June 13, 2008, deliberately planned to fall on Friday the 13th. The first commercial for the film aired during a new 30 Rock episode and as a trailer before Iron Man.

Premise
The Happening is a paranoid thriller in which a family must survive a global environmental crisis.[1] Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel star as an estranged couple who must escape this apocalyptic pandemic.
