Soul Men is an upcoming American musical-dramedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bernie Mac, Sean Hayes, Jennifer Coolidge and Isaac Hayes, who appears as himself. It is currently in post-production and set to be released on November 7, 2008. Both Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac died in unrelated circumstances during the weekend beginning August 9, 2008.

Plot
Two former backup soul singers, Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) who have not spoken to each other in 20 years reluctantly agree to travel across the country together to a reunion concert to honor their recently deceased lead singer. Cleo (Sharon Leal), a beautiful young woman, who is believed to be Floyd's daughter, accompanies them as the new lead singer.
