Monsters vs. Aliens (also known as Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D) is an upcoming 2009 computer-animated 3-D feature film from DreamWorks Animation. The release date was moved up to prevent competition with James Cameron's upcoming Avatar. This will be the first computer animated movie which will be produced in real 3-D instead of converting the film into 3-D after it is finished, which will add $15 million extra to the film's budget.
